It all started at Coppell High...

Rob graduated from CHS in 2010, and Judy graduated from CHS in 2011. They both played tennis and ultimate frisbee, stood back stage during the same shows, ate at Anamia's and Sonic (probably at the same time), and shared many mutual friends during their time in high school. They managed to swerve each other's paths for 3 years as they roamed the same hallways and hung out with the same people.

Then we were rivals (UT vs. A&M)

Rob headed off to A&amp;M in College Station and Judy went to UT in Austin. Even though they were in different cities, they still had many opportunities to meet, as Rob became roommates with some of Judy's high school friends and they were at ACL music festival at the same time multiple years.

Post College life was still full of swerves

After living in Houston for one year as a process engineer, Rob moved back to Dallas in 2016 to work as a data scientist at Southwest. Judy continued to be a Longhorn and attended law school at UT. Rob moved in with Judy's best friends from high school and Judy even saw Rob's room several times when she went to visit those friends. She saw his room before she met him!

The 10-year Reunion

Judy went back to Dallas to help plan Class of 2011’s 10-year reunion. She met up with high school friends the night before at Vidorra, where the crew was meeting for Mexican food that week. That was when Rob and Judy met for the first time. They were at opposite ends of the table but hit it off as friends instantly!

Rob and Judy had many interests in common and kept in touch for a couple years over social media. They would hang out with this friend group when Judy would visit Dallas, and the crew made the trip to Yosemite (where Ricky proposed to Katie). Their long distance friendship grew through many shared interests (music, food, personal traumas).

Bernal Heights

In spring of 2023, Judy took Rob to Bernal Heights, one of her favorite lookout spots in SF. Rob knew then that he wanted to one day move out to San Francisco. (Spoiler alert, this is where Rob proposed to Judy a couple years later!) Neither of them wanted to date long-distance, but they decided to rewrite the stars and finally let their paths cross after missing each other their whole lives.

The Roadtrip

Rob was able to get a job at Intuit pretty quickly and he and Judy began their roadtrip to the Bay Area. They went through 3 National Parks (White Sands, Grand Canyon, and Joshua Tree) and visited many cities (Santa Fe, Flagstaff, Sedona, Palm Springs, San Diego, and Paso Robles), saw many sights in between, and visited Rob’s brother and his girlfriend at their naval base. It was truly a roadtrip of a lifetime and a great way to begin their relationship in one place together.

SF Life

The rest is history! Rob and Judy have created a beautiful life in the Bay Area together with the most wonderful community of friends and family. They love going on hikes with Boba, golfing, traveling, planning parties and social events, and eating through the city.

Danny has known Rob his entire life! He is Rob's little brother, best friend, and confidant. Danny is intelligent, charismatic, and can become friends with anyone! Like Rob, he loves exceling in everything he touches, such as climbing V8s, becoming the best pilot anyone could be, and brewing the perfect cup of coffee. Danny looked up to Rob all his life and now Rob looks up to him, as Danny just graduated Top Gun in the Navy and now instructs pilots in Lemoore, California, where he lives with his wife Anna (who is a helicopter pilot).

Vickie and Judy both went to UT for undergrad but didn't meet until they were in law school. Their friendship started in Federal Income Tax class and was solidified when they took their epic bar trip to Taiwan and Japan together with their friend Alicia.  Vickie has been there for Judy through all the ups and downs in life with delicious food, hikes with their dogs, rock climbing, karaoke-ing, and hundreds of boba drinks consumed.  Vickie is so fun, always down to try something new, and go on an adventure.  She now lives only 4 minutes away from Judy in Berkeley with her dog, Pesto.

In freshman geography class, Ricky mentioned that his sister was in dance class with Rob's sister, and they have been friends ever since.  They have spent hours together playing guitar, making coffee, and talking about entrepreneurship and honestly, anything else under the sun.  Ricky was also friends with Judy in high school and may be the reason Rob and Judy never met until their 30s...  Ricky loves to run, travel, and has a passion for life and people that is ageless.  After Cornell business school and McKinsey, he is now the CSO of a start-up AI company and lives in the most luxurious apartment complex in Dallas with his wife Katie (who is a CEO boss lady).

Lydia and Judy became friends in 8th grade when Lydia didn't even bat an eye when Judy screamed "CORN!" and pointed out a giant hole in her pajamas. They were in many choirs, musicals, and classes together and had a combined graduation party. They have not lived in the same city since then, but have kept up over the years through visiting each other, epic trips (like Glacier NP last year), cards as pen-pals, and weekly voice memos.  Lydia is a kind, gentle soul that is a quintessential lifelong friend.  Lydia wears many hats in her nonprofit org and is a new homeowner in Dallas with her husband Brady, dog Winston, and cat Simba.

Justin is Rob's brother-in-law, but has become one of his closest friends over the years. They mostly bonded over golf, corporate jobs, and smoking meats, but seeing Justin become a dad and a loving husband to his sister has really deepened Rob's respect for Justin. He is a fantastic cook, very funny and sassy, and a wonderful father to the cutest curly-haired mini-him. Justin is a managing director at FedEx and lives in Roanoke with his wife Michelle, son Will, and dog Maverick (and they are expecting a second boy in April)!

Michelle has also known Rob her entire life, as she's his younger sister (only 16 months apart). She is the glue in the Bush clan and has welcomed Judy with open arms into their family from the beginning. She and Judy actually knew of each other in high school since they were in the same class! Michelle is hilarious, a master planner, and the best mom to the cutest boy (soon two boys). She was a marketing specialist at FedEx but decided recently to devote her time as a full-time mom, and lives in Roanoke with her husband Justin, son Will, and dog Maverick.

Davy was actually best friends with Rob's sister Michelle growing up, and then was friends and classmates with Judy in IB, and then became Rob's roommate in college at A&M (and then again post-college). Davy learned early that he enjoys the finer things in life, such as a nicely cooked steak, perfectly brewed black coffee, and good vibes, and Rob followed in his footsteps; now they enjoy the finer things in life together. Davy is a fulfillment center manager for an education book publishing company and lives in his sick (new) house in Dallas with his dog Luma.

Meera and Judy have been friends since the 3rd grade where they thought they hit their peak weirdness (turns out the best people never grow out of it)! They lost touch briefly during college but randomly met at a bar in Dallas a few years ago where their friendship rekindled in the Bay Area. Meera has always been and still is a deeply loyal and dedicated friend - in middle school, she snuck out of her window to see Judy in her play and now, she is throwing her and Rob a wedding shower.  Meera will start her new job as a product analyst at Bloomerang in May, and hosts and acts in comedy shows around the Bay Area. She lives in Fremont with her boyfriend Vineeth and tiny dog Mops.

Nick met Rob through Judy, but they are cut from the same cloth and could be long-lost brothers, and Rob officiated Nick and Megan's wedding in 2025. They instantly got along with their booming voices, competitive nature, love for activities (skiing/snowboarding, golfing, cooking, music, and now poker), and zest for life. Nick grew up in Austin and was a Longhorn (hook 'em), so the Texas gang grew bigger out in California.  Under the #BigNickEnergy, he is a softie and loves his dog more than anything. Nick is a software engineer at a start-up and lives in Oakland with his wife Megan and the goodest boy Shiner.

Although at first it felt like Nick and Judy had more in common, Megan and Judy have become close friends in a short span of time. Their mutual love for food and ice cream, as well as being extroverted, means that they are trying to get together as much as possible (to eat and yap)! Megan is chic, elegant, fashionable, and so intelligent that she's out of everyone's league, yet she is kind, generous, and loving to everyone. She is in her last year of fellowship and will begin her attending career as Seattle Children's newest pediatric endocrinologist in September (we will miss you!). She currently lives in Oakland with her husband Nick and dog Shiner.

Brian and Rob met at A&M (gig 'em) at O'Bannon's craft beer brewery. Their friendship grew over the 4 years through jointly-thrown house parties, being roommates, and many weekends out in Northgate. After college, they kept in touch through annual ski trips, visits involving rock climbing, judging scholarship competitions, and emo festivals. Brian also instantly got along with Judy! Brian is super smart and good at everything he does, but isn't afraid to be a goofball and enjoy life to the fullest. He just passed his final actuarial exam (congrats!!) and works at The Standard in Houston.

Ben and Judy met in their a cappella group, Side Note, when Judy first moved to California. Their love for music brought them together, but it was their individual but parallel love journeys (from being sad and skinny to happy and fat, except now Ben is fit again!!) that has bonded them forever. Ben is so full of life and can make you laugh until you cry, and lights up an entire room anywhere he goes. He is also crazy talented - hopefully you get to hear him sing at the wedding! Ben is a cardiac electrophysiology nurse at UCSF and lives in Oakland with his partner Alex and two cats, Nina and Otis.

Michael and Rob also met through mutual HS friends and became housemates after college (but also knew Judy in HS first)! Michael and Rob bonded through being lead climbing partners and they started their own tradition of climbing on Friday afternoons before Mexican dinner. Michael is extraordinarily intelligent but is also one of the kindest people you'll ever meet. He is a software engineer and just sold his company (congrats!!!). He has been a nomad for the last couple years with a home base at Davy's house in Dallas and at his parents' in San Diego, but has now moved to the Bay Area with his dog Dewy and is here to stay!

Chena is Judy's first internet friend turned IRL friend. Judy met Chena during her foodie journey on Instagram - first through public posts and then DMs, and then finally they ran into each other at a boba shop they were both collaborating with! They instantly hit it off and Judy invited herself on Chena's solo trip to Hawaii, which was an amazing trip clearly, as Chena is now one of Judy's bridesmaids. Chena is so selfless, giving, and takes care of everyone around her, but is also so fun and down for anything, especially karaoke and eating food (and she follows the cardinal rule that the camera eats first!). She is a dental hygienist and lives in the Bay Area.

Sean and Rob met through mutual HS friends and became housemates after college, but Sean and Judy were actually close friends in high school first! Sean initiated the famous Mexican Friday dinners where the boys would get together each week for margs and Mexican food, which is where Rob and Judy first met after 30 years of swerving each other. Sean is a funny, charismatic guy who has shaped the Dallas boys crew (#nonewfriends) over the years and is now a margarita influencer on Instagram (go follow @brozenmargs). He is an advertising supervisor at Firehouse and lives in Dallas (also a new homeowner!) with his wife Darby and two dogs, Champ and Poppy.

If you haven't received an email from them, please go ahead and email her and let her know that you will be in attendance and would like support in finding accommodations. Please respond to Claire and Monica as quickly as possible as accommodations fill up quickly in Ravello, and we want to make sure there are plenty of affordable options for all of our guests!

The closest airport to Ravello is Naples International Airport (NAP). Once your flights are booked, please share the details with Claire and she will try and group transportation to Ravello with other guests to save costs. If you are thinking of renting a car and driving, please talk to us and Claire first! We would encourage against this as parking is very difficult in Ravello, driving is dangerous (and on the other side of the road), and speeding ticket booths are hiding along all the highways.

Naples International Airport

There are multiple non-stop flights from the US to Rome's airport Leonardo da Vinci - Fiumicino (FCO). Rob and Judy will be flying from SFO into FCO on August 18. Once your flights are booked, please share the details with Claire so she can help with transportation if needed (rental car, train, etc.)

Many of the lodging accommodations have been booked up by other guests and travelers, so please contact Claire at guests@cfweddingsitaly.com ASAP to book. Claire will help to make sure you book a place in Ravello, as other "nearby" cities are very difficult and expensive to get to (and further than Google maps makes it seem)!

Rob and Judy will be staying at the Villa Amore, only 1 minute away from the wedding venue, Villa Eva. It is a family-owned hotel with views of the Amalfi Coast and is affordable and convenient. (300 to 450 euros/night)

This hotel is a sister property of Villa Eva (the wedding venue) and has wonderful seaside views and breakfast included. A few guests are staying here and also very close to the venue. (390 to 550 euros/night)

Villa Maria Hotel

Hotel Giordano is also a sister property of Villa Eva (the wedding venue) and offers a free porter service and an outdoor terrace with swimming pool. This hotel does not have seaside views (but stunning views of the hillside and the pool). Also a short walk to the venue. (~475 euros/night)

On August 26, 2026, Robert Trevino will lead the George Enescu Philharmonic orchestra at the The Ravello Festival, which is an annual summer music and arts event taking place in Ravello on the Amalfi Coast. Rob and Judy plan to attend this concert a couple days after their nuptials, and they would love for you to attend as well! The area is famous for its beautiful cliff-side gardens, a perfect backdrop for the concerts. In 1880, the town was visited by German composer Richard Wagner. He admired the beauty of the resort, especially the Moorish architecture of Villa Rufolo.
